We all talk about AI bulls that we are using but I though it would be neat to learn about what folks are using natural service.

Our senior herd sire Coleman EXT 6149 Registration #15730734. This photo was taken at the tail end of the breeding season so he is in his working clothes.

Our junior herd sire pictured as a long yearling Sinclair Rito 9R9 Registration #16352504

We also put some yearling bulls on heifers each year.

Nice bulls guys! Here is the bull I sold last year, I have 32 of his daughters out of 70 females on the farm currently, hence the reason for moving him on. I dont have pics of the current guys but will whip out and get some tomorrow :cboy:

haven't taken the time to figure out how to post photo's here so here's a link to our herdsires, http://www.tullyfergus.com/herd-bull-alley.htm , over 3/4 of the calves born this spring in the reg herd will be by Just Right or Barbarian, first daughters of Barnstormer will calve this spring and after that we'll see how hard we use him.

Nice bull old_emu_man, how old was he in the pic? Looks pretty sound and athletic!

We have natural calves by these two bulls.

He was going on 5 y/o when I sold him. It was scary sometimes to watch a 2300+ lbs bull take off across the paddock down a step hill bucking and jump like a crazy calf but he never hurt himself doing it!

Wow some good looking herd sires, Robert I really like the look and pedigree of the Right Time bull. We have used New Day a bunch and really like what he has to offer as well. Old_man_Emu I really like that bull would love to see some pictures of his calves. Julian good looking stock as always. I have found that my herd bulls calves perform in most cases as well as AI sires. Thanks for shareing your photos.

Love your cattle Robert! That barbarian fella looks a lot like my old, or so I think anyway.

I saw the same similarities you did, I guess we all gravitate towards and determine 'goodness' based on our own likes and prejudices. Julians senior bull would fit right into my herd if I painted him black.

Here here!
Great bulls Julian and they look to be great cows in the background aswell!

This is our newest Red Angus herd sire. He's still at Genex getting collected, so I don't have a better picture yet.

Showing71,
Your bull has some features that remind me of calves sired by Glacier Château. Is he a descendant?

No, he's out of LSF JBOB Expectation and a LSF Combination cow. I didn't see any Chateau in the 5 or so generations that the RAAA lists.

I haven't got a lot of pictures of his calves yet but this is one of my favourites in my joined heifer group. She is just of a commercial cow.

It would be about August when that pic was taken so she would be right on 12months old.

I will be getting calves out of 3 bulls this spring...Because of the 3 months of flooding we had last spring they were all ran in a mob breeding- and made all the mating decisions..

Only have recent pictures of the old bull # 15800329 Whitney Creek Bannon 730T - taken late this summer...

The other two bulls were:
16741353 Lazy Bar B Juanada Rito 06X
16742011 Lazy Bar B Old Gabe

So far the primary bulls I plan on running next spring are the Juanada Rito bull and a double bred Bannon of Wye - 17049646 Lazy Bar B Bannon 2 BY ...The third bull I have is also a home raised one- 17049647 Lazy Bar B West Fork 5BY ....

I'm still thinking hard of AIing some of the Bannon 730T daughters we kept this fall to the Tender Ten bull that has intrigued me for the last couple of years:
