Muscle seams on British cattle.i

ive heard a lot of comments recently (not on here) at cattle shows where people have a real issue with seeing muscle seams on British breeds of cattle. From what I can gather there are people who seem to think it indicates a harder doing animal and even raises questions on breed purity. I just thought that muscle seems meant more muscle and less fat cover. Should British breeds of cattle have muscle seams? Does it even matter? Interested to hear people's opinions.
