As I get ready to move from pasture to hay, do I need to change my mineral program?

I was also told that when I wean the calves I should change my mineral to a salt free mixture for 7-10 days for the cows I am drying off.

That's a new one! I agree with dun.

We keep it the same year round except in the spring we put out some hi magnesium to help 'em get over the spring flush in the fescue.
