I have seen metal caps on the<br>tips of cattle horns. My question<br>is what are these called, what metal<br>are they made from, and where may<br>they be purchased?

Sounds like horn weights. These are used to cause the horns to grow downward rather than out to a point. You can most likely purchase them from your veterinarian or from a local farm supply store.
