Meet Kate :)

I should have posted this on the pet forum but all of you have been so supportive with our health journeys with Nikki these past 4 years ♥ and I wanted share our new member to the Hillsdown family with you . Now that Nikki is finally healthy and back to work full time she needs a mate to do the grunt work, so here she is .

This is Kate , we made the 10 hour trip to get her on Sunday . She is more than a handful to put is kindly, gotta love them Border Collie puppy's

Shortly after the playing she was pretty much played out ;-)

Nikki is adjusting really well but sometimes she is not very impressed with her 'baby sister' ;-) I am sure once Kate gets older and becomes an actual dog things will be very different . :cowboy:

She was supposed to be Makenzi or Mak , but the name didn't suit her . I have had a few choice names for her as of late ;-) believe me she looks all angelic when she is sleeping or playing but Heaven help us when she gets bored . :devil2:

I needed a pup right now with all that is going on in my life like I needed a hole in my head . :dunce:

It is pronounced just like it is spelled, M5 , just short and simple .

pups are nice then they grow up, I like her name I wanted to call my cat Kate but my Son was going out with a Kate at the time and it didn't seem right. She looks lovely hope she doesn't chew up to much.

a couple of years ago when we still had good old Rose and had lost Toby, I brought home the Pound Puppy, Dee Dee....Rose was not real impressed early on but the puppy worshiped her and they grew to be fast friends....

I wish I could explain all the mental videos of them that just went thru my head.....

Rose I miss you still but Dee and Apache, the aussie you sent to watch over us, are taking good care of me....

I love our Aussies but I wish we had another Border Collie.
