Maturity age in a young bull

I'am shopping for a young bull for my 14 month old Brangus heifers. What would be a good age of a bull to start on my heard??????

<p>What breed of bull are you considering? If you're thinking of a European bred, ie: Angus, Hereford, they mature earlier than others, and could be used as young as yearlings. If you're contemplating a Continental breed...ie: Charlois, Limosin, etc., I would suggest 14+ months. If you're looking at anything with Bos Indicus (Brahman) they mature later...18+ months.<br>
