Can someone explain to me why there seems to be so much of these causing recalls lately? I get the automatic emails and there seems to be alot of it going on lately.
I have no idea what the mcdonalds one is about, i gave up my big macs about 10 years ago. They stopped tasting like meat. I get the usda alerts and have noticed more nd more recalls. Seems the more modern they get, the more problems they have. What do they do with the recalled product?

Most of the product is thru the system before the recall is announced. Meat can be used in products that are cooked before they are sold. The big thing about all of this is that there is no problem if you cook the product!
