Yes, Happy birthday. Hope that the calves will wait til you get a break in the weather. Did you ever manage to get the cattle from Texas, shipping and all figured out?

Yes and no about the shipping, Jan. There are now four or five folks in the Pac NW interested in those cattle. "Interested" doesn't mean "buying," though. Need to talk to the TX breeder again to see if any deals are actually being set up, WHICH WILL DEPEND ON shipping! There's an Oregon shipper LIKELY hauling a load of cattle to central TX in March, and he would back haul for us at a very reasonable price -- IF his haul to TX gets cemented. Lots of "ifs" right now.
