I agree with Bullbuyer, have you looked at Case/IH, or Mahindra? I know M is built in India, but they have been building engines for the US since before WWII. I have a 55hp w/FE Loader and it handles two 1500# bales just fine works with disks and other earth & hay equipment.

Mahindras just dont last. I would stay clear if you are going to really be using the tractor.

Does anyone have any experience with the TD95 new hollands? They are a bit heavier than the TN line and 95 horses should get the round baling done, wouldn't it? Plus they are cheaper than the TN's.

I have a TN65(75 without the turbo) and it will pull a Vermeer 4x5 all day long. Eight hours of dust is tough on the open station. I also pull a 9' Krone disc mower with the same tractor. Does the cheaper tractor have the syncro shuttle? Some of the cheaper models have a crashbox. The shuttle comes in real handy for loader work and adjusting speed when baling.
