Jersey cow with cracked teats

We have a jersey cow with cracks on her teats. Any ideas on what to treat her with. We have put bag balm on it. Its been a weird year for weather-never had this problem with any cows before.

I would think the bag balm should work just fine.

If I had one with lots of cracks I used Crisco shortening. Kept 'em soft and helped them heal. I never liked Bag Balm. I think it was the smell.

Get this kind of oinment-Corona, it is real thick and works real good, noticeable improvement in 1-2 days.

when we hand milked our cow we would use vasaline and if they were cracked real bad this red stuff that would be hard to get off your hands. Smelled like lanolen (sp?). other than that watkins petro salve.
But we did not have a dairy and just milked for our family.
