ill Calve

Have a very poorly calve, no idea whats wrong. Details are sketchy 'cos i only help at the farm. This calve is 14 days old. Has been seen fitting (lying on the ground shaking). Yesterday found lying down completly stiff in crepe(sp?). Coat had a bluish twinge, and terrible scour. Been given vitamin jab (large) iron and electrolytes, being stomach tubed aswell as it is so weak Ayone have ANY idea??

Could be a number of things, but the first that comes to mind is not adequate nourishment. If your weather is cold he will need a high fat content milk or milk replacer. If he's that weak he probably needs warmth also.
