Burnt 30 cord last winter and dang near ran out. Have 35 cut for this year and would like to get about 5 or so more before the snow flies.

30 cords (60 ricks), that is a lot of wood. Do you use a fireplace or wood stove? House big, or need insulation?

I only use the fireplace when the electricity goes out. I do sell a lot of firewood, though. $60 for a pickup load. It's almost one-half cord.

House is not too big, mostly been all remodeled. Most of the wood goes to heat the garage and shop. I have one 400,000 BTU boiler and it feeds all three buildings. She can eat a Mule load of wood every day when it's cold and windy.
