How much dry matter can a 300lb calf expect to eat per day?

I realize that the normal for a cow is about 2.6-2.7% of body weight. Would the same calculation hold true for nursing calves?

If you are talking about nursing calves that will continue to nurse the amount will be much less. Can't tell you exactly but 1% comes to mind.
