I'm looking for stories about folks who have had run ins with Holstein bulls. Since AI this doesn't happen as much as it did in the old days. Why do dairy bulls tend to be so aggressive. Any info you got would be great. Thanks!!!

Theory: On dairys that the bull runs with the cows he gets possessive about his harem. In the ones that don't, he gets mad cause he's horny. Seriously, it seems that most Holstein bulls I've been around don't start getting nasty till the are around 5 or 6 years old. Most beef bulls don't last that long. Jersey bulls just have a chip on their shoulder, kind of like the littlest guy in school always proving he could whip anybody. Could also be because they are bottle fed and don't have any respect for puny humans. Never worked with any of the other dairy breeds.
