Hiefer with sore foot

I have a approx 7 month old hiefer with a bad foot. treated with pen for 5 days off for 5 day back onr for 5 days. it started with a cut now has swallon and developed more puss sores any ideas?

I've always had good results spraying Hydrogen Peroxide on infected cow feet. (about 3%, but you could go a little higher). If you can't lift up the foot, you can spray from a distance with a household sprayer, just soak it good. I try to do it twice a day (more is better) and usually get results pretty quickly.
