help me 2 down calves

got 2 calves the sypmtoms are laying on left side ,bloated belly,tremors and swaying of the head, one calf recovered after 48 hours and vet care other is still under vet care but refuses to stand on left leg now have to sling him 3 times a day,vet is stumped lost one in february with same signs anyone else have this problem

Have you thought of entrotoxcimia?  With the bloat, and laying down sounds like it.  But ours had a siezures too. A shot of C&D antitoxin would cure that. Sounds toxic, are the cows eating a higher nitrait meal? good luck

first calf that died in feb. had massive seizure ,vet thought it possible it stoked out thank you

they are on brome/alphla mix,mineral gold supplement and fresh pasture

Is there any mudpuddles they could be drinking from or are the calves eating dirt? It could cause their guts to get out of whack and be toxic. Which could bring on those symptoms. Did your vet try an antitoxan?

no puddles vet injected them both twice with a antitoxin,and b12 complex and baytril for antibiotic ,can't figure out why calf wont stand ;almost like he forgot how to walk,if in sling he drags left leg and won't put any wight on it if out of sling first step he goes down with front buckling first

How old are these calves?
