One of my cows had a set of twins last weekend . The heifer was born Friday morning the bull Saturday morning .The heifer is Ma-Hogany in color and weighted 50# Bull is jet black with a blazed face 75#.Since they were born a day apart , so different in color and weight That maybe two eggs were fertilized. I know in most case of twins of different sex the heifer is a Freemartin .There mother is taking good care of both and she is so easy going would like to keep the heifer for my herd. When she is older can a vet tell if she is or not ?
