Here are some pictures of some F1 Barzona x Red angus calves. Adds heat tolerance and hybrid vigor without adding ear. Unfortunately, the Barzona is all but a dead breed. As mentioned, I would probably look at the south poll breed. 1/4 red angus,1/4 senepol, 1/4 hereford, 1/4 barzona. Bred for the heat and humidity in the south as well as fescue tolerance, docility and longevity. I would just make sure to buy from a reputable breeder, they are a hot breed right now and a lot of trash being sold as breeding stock.
