I admit -- I'm a FB user. Sometimes to chat, sometimes to vent, sometimes to sell or gift things, or buy or receive, or rant about politics.
An hour ago, a FB friend in TX, formerly from my area posted -- "Anyone know anyone near Baker City, OR?" "Yes, I do; have family that ranches there." She asked that I call her; I did. Very tearful lady FB friend answered. Long story short, her parents are relocating/retiring to TX and moving their horses now. En route, near Baker, her dad had a seizure, ambulance transported him to local hospital, with her mom and a loaded 2-horse trailer sitting at the local hospital. Hooked her up with my family person, who is on the way now to pick up the horses and keep them a few days, and offer hugs or whatever is needed during the crisis.
