That's very true but I was saying that sometimes mother nature has the final say meaning sometimes there's nothing you can do or the vet, it's out of your hands.

In reality you said mother nature ALWAYS has the final say. If that were so why would we ever both to produce veterinarians, medications etc.?? Sometimes there is nothing that can be done....but it's pretty rare.

I shoot for 95 percent at weaning, with a decent year of twins we are sometimes at or over 100, but I figure anything above 90 percent weaned from numbers calved is a decent year.
