With training like this it makes you wonder how more innocent bystanders aren't killed. It's almost as bad as leaving you pistol in a bathroom at a shooting match.

Leaving the gun leaning on the car was dumb, but retrieving the gun and carrying it like the officer did back to the car is lack of training. Lucky no one got hurt or killed, safe handling of a firearm starts with proper training.

Yeah, leaving a rifle there is stupid.. and if that were my car I'd be pizzed about them leaning it up against it too.

I was thinking more along the lines of an accidental gun shot wound. But your probably right it looks like he's downed his share of donuts and or beer.
