once the rules were only to change one letter keeping the rest of them in place. i.e witch - hitch......or adding a letter as mile - smile....but it would seem that rule went out of the window long ago....the added or changed letter could be in any place of the word, begining middle or end....but hey ho it is only a game not a quiz.....still enjoy playing it is a challenge to think of the next word...my answer to Lich would have been Lichen so not the rules added two letters. to your cadaver....Chris

I thought about doing lichen, but its harder to work with and I have noticed that the harder it gets the slower it goes. Who wants to be challenged at 3:00 a.m.?
