Bought this 16 month old pure bred Gelbvieh heifer. This breeder buys a lot of Judd Ranch stock. Wanted to see what others thought, I see some faults but for the price I think she is worth a chance. Not the greatest cell phone pics.

She's worth 1.40 if she's in the 800lb range. So about 1100$ to a buyer at a sale, and to me that's the real value if open heifers.TexasBred":2cstw1ud said:

Tom, I paid $2000 for a papered pb JF flying B cut above open heifer. She was sporting a nice blaze so I could not control myself. But I sat out the Paris Elite Heifer sale last year and saw commercial bred heifers 20 mo old going for $2400 that were no better than yours. You did say this was a PB Gelbvieh. I assume she can be papered. I would not be disappointed with her at $1600
