What a terrifying invention. Some people still tinker with them, though I have no idea why, because if you hate yourself that much then you can light yourself on fire for a fraction of the cost.

Somewhere around 1953-1954 I decided it would be a good idea to stick a pair of tweezers into a120v receptacle. My excuse was

Used to know a girl who bought a yugo. Had those auto seatbelts that would nearly take your head off. I remember everyone standing around it like a bunch of monkeys opening and closing the doors in wonderment.
