Just guessing here but I would think any animals with strong links to 1680 would be kept out of the sale.

I've been looking at a bunch of sales and on average about half have 1680 in the first three generations in the pedigree. A sale I was going to attend had four cows that I was interested in, then this CCS thing came out and I ruled out two of the four automatically because they had 1680 in the ped. I don't know if there is that much influence out there, or if everybody is dumping the cattle and taking a chance that they may come back on them?
