Calf can’t walk

Got a 5 week old calf - was healthy until this morning. Struggling with back legs buckling under her. Vet thinks she might have got kicked. Anyone else ever have this happen?

Probably kicked or stepped on. I think they get stepped on allot more than people think, especially when it's muddy.

I would give an anti-inflammatory if it were me. Metacam or even dex

Had one a couple of years ago got kicked in the ribs by a cow. Was down that evening and could only walk a few steps. Died a couple days later from internal injuries. Stepped on ones usually same result. But if the calf is alive, gotta try.

We've got one that got stepped on this year that has a crook in his neck and a bad eye now. Seems really healthy but always looks at you with his head cocked to one side likes he's ready to fight. His right eye is rolled back in it's socket too.
