Cost of Grow Feed

I ran across the "Kluis Profit Index". It updates input costs and grain price daily for a standardized midwest acre. Today it showed -$22 for corn and -$67 for soy beans in 2009.

Have you been brave enough to calculate 2009 alfalfa hay profit?

Steve, I got 3 loads of pretty fair hay brought in for $65 a ton. I'm thinking maybe take the Spring/Summer off and not grow a thing. :cowboy:
