Saw a post last week about a calf with cloudy eyes. Same thing happened to us. Evidently septicemia or pneumonia, as he's come back to life with Nuflor. Cloudy eyes are lingering as is some blindness - I think he can see very vaguely. Anyway, does this clear up eventually? Healthwise the calf is great now.

jerry's right. It could take a couple of months before it clears up if it's going to.

The calf blinks in general. Not consistently when a hand is waved in front. Really appreciate the input. This is not something we've seen before.

We have a mostly-blind calf. From what we are observing, and what we have heard from others...its not too big of a problem. He doesn't cover alot of ground in a day, but doesn't really need to. Your calf might have impaired sight, may grow out of it. Either way, he will probably be O.K. Don't worry about it but be diligent in trying a few things, like A, D, and E vitamins asap. Our calf's eyes were VERY CLOUDY with white, spider-webs and clouds over 90% of his eyes, now, 2 months later...there is a bit of cloudiness but hard to see...it got better. His sight seems to continue improving also. Unfortunately, our calf never blinks, he flinches when passing our hand close. Sounds like yours is in better shape.
