While we're on commercials. Anybody noticed the new Chevy Truck commerical....big rain storm, man in slicker or poncho...picture shows longhorn cattle with mountains in the background...finally the "dude" walks into the woods and comes out carrying a full blood holstein calf in his arms.

TB.. I think that was one of them new cross breeds.. Longstein..

Bammy hadn't noticed til I watched again..that calf already has an eartag. Nothing but a holstein would lay down and try it's best to die. A longhorn would have found mama or vice versa.

Don't you know that proves how tough Chevy trucks are. The only thing any better would be to put about 10 bales of hay in the back to prove it load handling capabilities :lol2: .

I'd give him a dollar, and hold his coat just to watch him carry a longhorns cows calf from one side of the field to the other. Heck that should be an Olympic sport.

Second what Texas says about that little Holstein trying its best to give up and die, ya we know that one....That commercial is so bogus, If it was real he would having his wife rip him sideways via cell, text,fb, any other communication method, and finally in person. If the preceding was in the commercial then I would consider it real.
Ps it would have to include the "I told you so"

Evidently they don't require lic plates in his state either. The little short (and sooo cute) rails on his truckbed look like they might keep a crippled goat in.
Heck of a flashlight tho.

You don't reckon he stopped to take his Viagra and forgot to lock in in 4WD do you? :lol2: :lol2:

I pointed that out to my wife the first time I saw it. I said that calf just doesn't seem to fit the commercial unless he's got a dairy on the back 40.

When I saw this commercial for first time and saw that calf, I was like huh?! If it was a black calf or a non-dairy calf we would not have this thread.

I've wondered that one too but I guess that's city folks to ya. I had a girl in my class back in old days at the college that she came from the cities and when we went to a wildlife sanctuary for school project (natural resources major). When we walked pass an elk enclosure and she pointed at an elk cow, "Look at the cows! That's where our milk comes from! Mooooo!".....she actually mistook an elk cow for a dairy cow

They're only allowed to use black calves in Certified used car commercials....
