Cedar Fence Post

Yep Dun. I was shown that trick already by the County agent when I toured his farm. I also use the tree in the right spot for a post. Saves digging and tamping as I don't have a post driver yet. Hopefully shortly after tax time I will!!
 
I wouldn't use a cedar tree for a fence post- not if you mean eastern red cedar trees that cover OK and TX. They won't last long and will burn. Bodark or boisdarc, however you spell it is way better and last for years. Steel pipe is even better. Will last until you are dead and won't burn
