Do you have Brahmans over there? When I was visited by an American he couldn't get over the size of their ears. I believe you need small ears for the cold. We need large ears to dissapate the heat.

i had some brahman ''indu brazil'' just like yours years ago.... same amount of ear.. your visitor could have been from up north

Really like the before and after picks of the cattle. I like to see cattle turn around like that. I do a little bit of it, but not to that extreme.

Suzi, I am from Rhodesia/Zimbabwe, where I ran Tuli , which were growing in popularity though the established Afrikana were still the predominant breed, N'koni and Mashona were both popular adapted breeds with Bonsmara the most common composite.
Imported Bos Indicus and their composites while rare in my area due to problems with their sheiths due to awn grass, included Brahman, Gir, Indu Brazil, Santa Gertrudis, Beefmaster and most of the American composites in lesser numbers.

I exported Tuli embryos to South Africa and Namibia in the 70's and 80's from which herds embryos were sent to Australia along with Boran embryos.
