Is there a wrong time of year to worm cattle if they could be Grub infected? It is my understanding that if the grubs life cycle has it in the animals renal system at time of the worming....the destruction of the parasite while in the renal system can make the animal pretty sick??

Yes. Treating for grubs at the wrong time of year can not only make your cattle sick - it has the potential to kill them. Because different areas of the country experience heel fly season at different times, I believe I would check with my vet as to when it is safe to treat for grubs.

Thanks! I think now is wrong time of year too? I'll holler at Vet tomorrow!

You're welcome. We've already treated for grubs here, but I'm not sure about your area.
