Here's a question straight from my Grandma (working for her now :D)

She has recently baught a male cat and a female.

1. She isn't sure if she should breed them or fix them
2. Should she remove mice that the cat's catch (diseases?) or let them eat 'em.

1. she should fix them immediately
2. let the cat have one every now and then to give a reason to continue catching them. dispose of the ones they leave as trophies.

Are they house cats or barn cats? Would she like to have a few more or just the 2? If she wants more, she could let them have a litter and then fix them. Otherwise get them fixed real quick. As for the mice, we have never had a problem with the cats eating how ever many they want. Not saying something couldn't go wrong though. Think Beefy has a good idea.

Thanks.
I think she wants more, because she has an awful lot of grain and feed.

So she will most likley breed 'em them fix 'em.

And I will tell her that advice, yeah they would have a better reason to kill them.

By the way - barn cats

Thanks,
-Radi

We don't spay/neuter our barn cats. Seems like every time we do something "special" to a certain cat - ie, vaccinations, worming, spay, etc - it gets hit by a car the next day. Or picked off by one of many predators a cat has. Murphy's law, I guess.

After you've had that happen enough times you decide not to mess with them. Expensive road-kill or fox-food.

House cats would be a different matter.
