This Brahman bull was as tightly linebred as any I had ever seen. He really worked well on a set of 1/2 sisters that were unrelated to him.

I just fail to see this heterosis everyone always speaks so highly of.. Perhaps you'd see it from two animals of different breeds that have both been linebred? Stacking animals that work seems to be far more beneficial from what I can tell right now.

Thank you! Really glad you pointed this out because it's all I hear around my area, Funny though, I still mop the floor in the size category with purebreds compared to mix breeds around me.

The dam was a Linebred daughter that let me realize that Linebred was an outlier in type and function of that program. A nice cow from a commercial and practical standpoint.
