Bull with sore foot

My bull has became lame, at first i thought, foot rot, gave him shot of LA 200 with no difference.
Has been a month like this. I figured maybe broken foot. Did more reading and still think foot rot again. He has lost 300 lbs.
Gave him a shot of penicillin last night. His foot is very swelled, called the vet but cant come for a week.
Any thought on this guys???

a vet can't come out for a week? i would get the bull up and look at his foot. probably something stuck in it. or try to find a vet willing to come out sooner than a week.
