My BIL has a vintage (late 70's -early 80's) Browning Citori o/u with a Browning soft case that he's thinking about selling. Its never actually been fired. Modified and fixed chokes. Any ideasthoughts on its value?
Thanks

sorry about that...meant to say modified and full chokes. both are fixed.
It's 12 g....I don't really have any further info at the moment. Its a basic model as it was a promo gift from a bank for opening a new account back then and doesn't recall the exact year

I'm sure I'll get beat up for this, but here goes. I had the same gun with 30" barrels. After duck hunting went to steel, I found it sitting in my safe since I don't shoot trap. Three years ago I had it cut to 26" and screw in chokes added. I know it "lessened the value," but I'll never sell it and now it's an awesome shooting, versatile shotgun. My personal thoughts on a fixed full mod gun for hunting are not very favorable, though I'm sure many disagree.
