Bred Heifer breathing hard

After 35 years "away from the Farm" I recently purchased several "medium" bred heifers. They all did well for about a month but now one is breathing really hard- she "wheezes" and her sides heave. She is eating and drinking as good as ever and has no problem coming up to get the cubes. She seems to be better when her head is down eating. Would appreciate any help. Clarence

Whenever I see promblems like that the first thing I do is take their temperature to make sure there's no fever.

Thanks, Shorty. I should have mentioned that she has no temp. The place I bought has nice pipe coral with head holder so we eased her in there and checked her out.
