brute i wont allow a cattle trailer on the place for that reason.if they see a trailer anywhere you wont pen them at all.so i want them penned and sorted before the truck gets here.

I ride down on the Mule call them up put out a bag of cubes in the pen
they will fight to get in. Close the gate and every head flies up.
I just sit down there at the pen on the Mule they will calm down when they
finish the cubes I work them. Then we go get the trailer.

Same here. Just sit on the tailgate and get comfortable. I sort out of the same gate every time so as they finish they will walk up to the gate. Just open it and let them ease out. Keep what I want to keep. If they won't sort out again, I just go sit back down. Slow and easy.
