My 9 month old bottle baby heifer stuck her nose in a tar bucket today. She licked her nose clean. We washed her with dish washing soap and cut off what we can. My questions are.... Is this going to make her sick? How do we get it off of her? :???:
Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by tar. Bitumen? but I don't know why that would be in a bucket. The first thing I would try would be a lot of water with a microfibre cloth. It is amazing what they get off and don't use chemicals. Or how about shampoo?

Except maybe add some feathers for decoration.
:p

I don't know how toxic tar is but she probably didn't ingest too much to worry about, they are not as stupid as we think - or maybe they are  . Try Eucalyptus oil to remove tar, if you can't get hold of any use peanutbutter or plain butter.[

Thanks Had not thought of the oil or peanut butter. It makes perfect since its what I use to get chewing gum out of my kids hair.

Have a great day!
