Any one have opinions on the best eating spudd?
Planted some Yukon Gold this year and they were great but always looking for other ideas for the next seasons.
Thanks....Dave Mc

The red Pontiac was always in so many sizes and weird shapes here that we went to the white Cobbler and had much better results. Waited too late to buy my seed potatoes last year and they only had Yukon Gold left. They produced by far the most consistent sized and shaped potatoes we have ever planted, while also being one of the most productive. They are my first choice now!

Can't beat those Yukon golds, they are sweeter, and a little softer than the usual varieties. Here in Montana, we've had great success growing golds, except this year, it was difficult to get a hold of the seed potatoes. They are the best-tasting spuds ever!

Had a friend give us some Greman Butterball that were right up there with the Yukon Gold...think that I'll plant a few rows of each this year and see which we prefer.
