The way things are going in the world today racism will just about dissappear as humans eventually homogenize. In generations to come your great great grandkids are all going to be of similar color, similar features, more and more people's traits are going to be averaged out - accept it, don't accept it :help:

Just think, if roads and bicycles were not invented none of this would have been possible :p

Ali it's too late....look at the pic of Isom's family. :lol2: :lol2:

I don't know how any person, let alone a mother with daughters and grand daughters could feel burdened by the presence of this girl and her family. This young woman was a light onto the path of countless (literally countless) women in her country, which of us can say the same? She has a profound sense of faith, purpose, conviction and courage that makes the world a better place for all of us at risk to her own life. She is an asset to your country and hosting her is an honor.
Angie it is not just the girl and her immediate family, it is the rest that will be allowed, ie her Grandparents and Aunts Uncles Cousins, so why should we have her here, what asset will she be to our Country we have had equality between men and women for years, if our people had kept their noses out of other peoples business no-one would have known about her, didn't see the US, Canada or any other Country come to her aid, or give her asylum, we have enough foreign nationals here already and a lot more coming later this year, remember we are only a small Island and we are having a big problem with housing and a strain on our resources + jobs for the people we already have. It is tough being a British White kid in this Country now, how would you like that to happen in your Country.

Well we'll see how fast this gets locked. I don't think the word "racism or racist" is over used and those words work both ways. The blacks suffered from severe racism for a few hundred years up to about 40 or 50 years ago, not long enough to be forgotten by many. My wife and I are both caucasian, i was treated with racial inequality on our first trip to Atlanta a few years back. We were standing in a check out line with a young black girl checking and a couple of black folks ahead of us, when it got to be our turn, three other black girls came around the counter and the checker checked them out before us. I was in shock, I had never been treated like that, checker an I just stared at each other and my with and I walked out leaving a cart full on the belt. Similar thing happened with a taxi driver in Vegas, but looking back I don't know that it was racist or just a young black taxi driver that had a choice of picking up a couple of white folks or a single good looking young black girl. So that may have been hormones over race. racism is dealt be all hands of color, it's too early to forget is my only point

Just to get myself in more trouble, American Indians. It's been80 to 100 yrs since any real wrong doing. Maybe it's time to move on and start taxing their casinos and cut off some funding. :2cents:
naw i think there still plenty of ass kissing due the natives americans... and id love to watch andrew jackson be first in line...

Change British to American in that last sentence and that is how we feel.

Chrisy and Greg are right. Have seen it happen more than once and not just foreign immigrants.
One or two come in and you think they are ok people. :welcome:
Then comes their kinfolks and friends. Next a whole mob comes and there goes the neighborhood. :help:
Archie Bunker understood these things much better than liberals.
Archie was a wise man and people still haven't caught on.

I believe old Archie may have come off a little gruff and and appeared heartless at times but I do think if Archie was in a life boat and found someone floating in the ocean he would pick them up and give them refuge. Am also sure he would also hand them a paddle and expect them to paddle along with him and if they refused - I'm confident he would toss them out of the boat unlike a liberal. A liberal would demand that everyone be plucked from the ocean irregardless of the capacity of the lifeboat - as long as the lifeboat wasn't their's and as long as they weren't drinking their water and eating their food. Its sortof like my x-wife. She was a liberal and once she got in the giving mode there was no shutting her up. One year, considered giving blood. She talked to everyone about what a worthy cause it was and this was the topic of her non-stop conversation. She never actually gave any blood but just the thought of giving blood was enough for her as long as everyone knew how giving she was.

the girl who was shot in the head by the Taliban for speaking out in Pakistan for girls to be educated, has left hospital and has been granted permission to stay here in Britain, {well we knew that would happen}, good that she is fine but so much for 'no I want to go back as soon as I am well'. Her family have been given entrance as well. I wont say any more as it all makes my blood boil.

Fee Fi Fo Fum!

I smell the blood of an English....

Wait a minute - I cannot find any Englishmen in England anymore!

LOL

Best to you Chrissy

Well if you say so Sensei, then I'm a believer!

Chrisy, I would feel the same way if it was the United States.
To say otherwise would be hypocritical, and there is enough hypocrisy on the thread.
