Trust me, they can and will.
I got hung up one morning and didn;t get home on time. Milking was done by 7, maybe 7:15 at the latest. Wife was foing to do the milking by herself. This was in the days that there wern;t milking machines for goats.
I rolled in about 10 and she was still milking. One doe that had a strong attachment to me was on the milking stand with maybe a half pint of milk in the bucket and my wife in tears. She had been trying to milk her for a couple of hours and that was all she had gotten. I sat down next to her and finsihed milking her ina few minutes with her usual couple of gallons in the bucket. Wife never tried to milk that goat again
