Milk sucking witch... I have one that I caught again yesterday... got a weaning flap to put in her nose as soon as I can get her in the barn... If that doesn't stop her, she is gone...

Yep!
I can't have her ruining my best cows udders!
She did good to raise one calf. My pretties will raise 2 easy! Easy decision for me.
Idk what the heck made her start that! B4 her, it was that dang weaned steer sucking on her.

At first, reading your other thread, i was disappointed you didnt give that shorthorn a chance. But after the nursing, absolutely not! Good move and i think your new ones will do better.

She sold today. Weighing a LOT more than when I got her.
She brought more than I gave for the pair.
She weighed right at 1000
Brought .68 for slaughter.
I've been feeding her. Ya know how ya look at em every day and think, my GAWD is she ever gonna gain?? She gained....
And the calf sold a while back and did well too.
