For Texas national holiday.
I know.....I'm letting him make me feel stupid! I don't have a hunt "lined up" unless some poor ass Doe stumbles across my place Saturday. Now I really feel like an orphan. It is a privilege around here unless I want to relive my youth.....I think I still know where the big ones are!kenny thomas":3nllamjv said:kingfisher, I live in Virginia and even I knew that the opening days of dove season and deer season are holidays in Texas. :lol2:

If it even moves, it is gonna get shot at by some idiot. Cars, tractors, dogs--they're all deer to them folks.
Deer opener is like thatin Utah too. I don;t know if they still do but they used to close the schools for the weekkenny thomas":323zfmhq said:kingfisher, I live in Virginia and even I knew that the opening days of dove season and deer season are holidays in Texas. :lol2:

We always have a high time. I have been stuck in the old place all morning it is raining so hard here.
I just went to reloading. Dang sure will have to fix the driveway when this stops. If this doesn't slack off I doubt we will be able to get out for church tonight. Creek at the bottom of the hill is level to the bank now.
