That would be really something good. My mum has them and will need surgery eventually. Her mum and my dads dad both lived into their 90s and never had eye issues.

Based on my annual eye check, not yet. Both my parents had their lens replaced due to cataracts in their late 80s. They should have had it done sooner. Both were amazed at how much better they could see. My problem is floaters. I shot my 1911 about a week ago. The floaters were a huge handicap. The solution is to have the vitreous humor replaced. They only recommend it in severe cases.

That would be a GREAT thing for so many. I have the very beginning of a cataract he said but not something to worry about any time soon. Said it hadn't changed from last year. Sure would be nice if they got it perfected in the next 5 years or so.....

I do not think that this will ever be effective. The cataract they remove is replaced with a lense. The cataract is inside the eye and not on it. I do not think the drops would ever get to it.

Do search for lanosterol that was referenced in the link you posted. Seems that is is available on line for $99 for treatment for the cataracts in your dog. After you get the bottle you can use it on yourself if you are brave enough. Also might be a scam a lot of online stuff such as deer blinds for $79.

I was talking with a friend yesterday and their dog has cataracts. I mentioned the eye drops to her. She said that she tried them and they did not work.

Yes, I don't know how drops could work. Like mentioned, cataracts are removed and a new lense is put in.
