I have 500 ac. elevation ranges from 900ft.-2000ft.central calif. How well will angus do in brush,(ie manzinita/chemise).Also plenty of open grass land.
East or west side of the Sierra? East side I would want some Brahman influence, west side some Hereford influence, i.e. Black or Red Baldies, reds might have a slight advantage. For the East side Red Baldies based on Red Brangus would be a good fit.
