I've finally found an angus bull that might work for me. He's a -1 BW, 48WW and 78YW. He weighs about 1600 at 18 months and I was wondering if that might be a little light. This particular farm doesn't feed real heavy like some do so I know he's in his everyday clothes.

Here in East Texas thats pretty good. We have raised Angus bulls for 25 yrs and an average weight for a 14 mth old bull for us is 1450. Thats not being pushed but ready to work. We have had an 18 month old weigh as much as 2000 but he was a big boy! Wish you luck with him. How is he bred?

He's an ai son out of bon new design 878 with V D A R as a great grandfather. His mother is out of a registered angus there on the farm and she is qiute impressive herself. I'm a fan of the 878 bull, I think he's solid across the epd's. Thanks for the reply.
