Air Force pollution forces New Mexico dairy to euthanize 4,000 cows

Help Support CattleToday:

The Environmental Protection Agency announced last week its intent to regulate the chemical by year's end, but the agency's plan does not include immediate cleanup actions.

What took so long? Were from from the government we're here to help.

An hour north of me is an air force base and exactly the same thing. All ground water is buggered and livestock is being investigated. Travels a long way in the ground so i can't see any way of cleaning it up. A lot of firefighters are at risk of cancer also. They used to have fun runs at schools and the local firefighters would set their trucks up and spray all the kids with water, now it has been banned from risk of residue in the tanks from foaming agents they use.
