A WOMANS POEM -


He didn't like the casserole
And he didn't like my cake.
He said my biscuits were too hard...
Not like his mother used to make.


I didn't perk the coffee right
He didn't like the stew,
I didn't mend his socks
The way his mother used to do.


I pondered for an answer
I was looking for a clue.
Then I turned around and smacked the crap out of him.......
Like his mother used to do.

Ya know, I will cook clean and iron. I draw the line at mending socks. And ol' Steve is greatful that someone cooks for him when he makes it home every week. But yes, Crowder, Steve would be spending his weekends washing and ironing if he said anything bad about it.

Love it! Men seem to get smacked by women more these days. I don't know if the women are getting less tolerant, or the men still havent learned when to shut up. Either way thats a good poem. I like it!
