This is a bull calf born Friday afternoon about 3pm. He is also out of the CMFS6288S balancer bull. Momma finally let me get close enough to get a pic today.

Hook said to just put them in a headlock and bite their ear
I want to try but I'm kind of skeered, you try first then I'll do it :D
 
cross.....I'm still waiting on hook to demonstrate the technique. Jogeephus probably has a brangus cow or two that hook can practice on before demonstrating for us on one of my tame Gelbvieh cows :)

She is normally pretty docile. Another couple of days and she will let me ear tag and band him without stomping me in the ground. She has been pretty consistant on her previous calves. I don't mind them being protective.
